Let's Make a Change
In order for Bullying to be dealt with properly, we need to first, realize that it is a problem and second, make a change. There have been countless thoughts and proposals that concerned people like you and me have come up with. For example, Stop Bullying: Stand Up and Speak Out! or Keep Calm and Stop Bullying. Out of the vast amounts of ideas, one that has stuck with me for years and has a positive outlook was Rachel's Challenge.
Rachel's Challenge was the idea to deal with bullying in a "positive" way. Her thought was, "I have this theory that if one person can go out of their way to show compassion, then it will start a chain reaction of the same. People will never know how far a little kindness can go." And she is right! No one truly understands the power of kindness until you do it! Reaching out to someone with a little bit of compassion could potentially save a life and ultimately prevent bullying from continuing on.
Like Rachel, I have had my fair share of thoughts and ideas on how bullying could be handled. With that being said, I believe that EVERYONE should be friendly and make it a goal to live that way!
Start a Chain Reaction and strive to LIVE FRIENDLY!
